About Kerkyra Seaways
Kerkyra Seaways is the second of the two car-ferry companies on the Igoumenitsa - Corfu crossing and, by its own account, has worked the route for more than 50 years. It is a separate company from the similarly named Kerkyra Lines, with its own ships, its own timetable and its own offices in Igoumenitsa, Corfu and Paxos. Besides the mainland crossing to Corfu Town it runs a daily direct line from Igoumenitsa to Paxos. Tickets are sold online as e-tickets, which arrive by email as soon as the booking is confirmed, and at the port offices.
The ships
Five conventional car ferries make up the fleet: the Hermes, at 84 metres and 15.5 knots the largest and fastest, the Agios Spyridon (81.5 metres), the Agia Eirini (80.4 metres), the Nanti (78.8 metres) and the smaller Aiantas (59 metres). The Hermes, Agios Spyridon, Nanti and Agia Eirini are accessible to passengers with disabilities, and the Hermes is the only ferry on the route equipped with a lift. They are island car ferries built for a crossing of under two hours rather than for the night: indoor lounges, open decks and vehicle decks.
Routes from this site
Igoumenitsa - Corfu is the company's route on this site: around seven departures a day in each direction in the 2026 summer timetable, spread from early morning until late at night, with a crossing of 80 to 90 minutes between the mainland port and the New Port in Corfu Town. Together with Kerkyra Lines that makes the busiest ferry corridor of the Ionian, and the two companies' sailings alternate through the day. The direct Igoumenitsa - Paxos line runs daily in season. All departures are in the timetable.
Check-in, vehicles and pets
Passengers and vehicles must be at the boarding area one hour before departure. Cars, motorhomes and motorcycles are booked with the ticket and line up for loading; electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles may board only with a battery charge of no more than 40 per cent and must not be charged on board, LPG or natural gas vehicles with the tank at most half full. Full-fare passengers carry luggage free up to 40 kilos or half a cubic metre. The company's published conditions do not set out a pet rule, so confirm the arrangement for your animal when you book.

A ticket can be changed once, free of charge, up to two hours before departure, subject to availability, or converted into an open ticket valid for six months on the same route.
