About Kamelia Lines
Kamelia Lines is a family-owned company from Paxos that describes its job plainly: a year-round passenger ferry and light-cargo service for the people of Paxos and their visitors, summer and winter. Its main office is in Gaios, the island's harbour village, and it doubles as the island's ambulance boat and the official carrier of the mail. Its shortest link is the 45-minute crossing from Lefkimmi in the south of Corfu; a second line runs from Corfu Town. Kamelia Lines is a Greek company with no connection to the Japan - Korea ferry of a similar name.
The boats
Two passenger vessels: the Christa, in service since 2016 and the boat on the Corfu Town line, and the Despoina P, built in 2013. Both carry passengers and light cargo, not cars, with indoor seating and some open deck. On the 45-minute Lefkimmi crossing and the roughly 90-minute run from Corfu Town, luggage stays with you on deck or in the racks.

Corfu Town - Paxos with the Christa takes about 1 hour 35 minutes from Eleftheriou Venizelou 50, opposite the Sette Venti passenger station, with one to two sailings a day in season. Travellers arriving from Igoumenitsa book the car ferry to Lefkimmi with Lefkimmi Lines and the connecting boat with Kamelia Lines. All departures are in the timetable.
Check-in, vehicles and pets
Tickets are bought online or at the port offices before boarding - sales on board are prohibited by law - and shown at the boat. The boats are passenger vessels without vehicle decks, so cars stay in Lefkimmi or Corfu Town; Paxos is small enough to manage without one. Tickets
Fares are per passenger: a standard fare, reduced fares for children from five to ten years, students, large families, passengers with disabilities and members of the security services, and free travel for children under five.
